We listen to your situation and explain, in plain words, what rights you have and what the next steps are. Free, and without the run-around.

Schools and teachers
We support school teams with concrete tools so the classroom makes room for every student, with and without disabilities.

Community and awareness
Meetings, campaigns and joint action with the sports club, the city council and other organisations, so inclusion is lived every day.

Who we are
Families who organised to change their schools
FUPIS grew out of families in Junín who shared one question: how to make sure their sons and daughters with disabilities had a real place at school and in the community.
For more than ten years we have worked for the right to an inclusive, quality education for everyone. We do it with families, with teachers, with the sports club and with the city council.
What we sustain, we sustain together.

Argentina
The national disability emergency is still in force
Law 27,793 declared a disability emergency across Argentina until 31 December 2026, extendable by one more year. It requires the State to take measures guaranteeing an adequate standard of living, health, rehabilitation, education, social protection and work for people with disabilities. Decree 84/2026 set out how it is applied.
It is the legal ground a family can point to when a service or a school support is denied.

Latin America
One in five students with a disability attends a special school
UNESCO’s SIRIED 2024 study counted 2.3 million students with disabilities across the region. Fewer than half of mainstream schools enrol this group, and more than a third of these students leave before finishing secondary school. 76 % complete primary school, against 99 % of students without disabilities; for secondary school it is 61 % against 82 %.
It puts numbers to what families already know: mainstream schools still do not make room for everyone. That is the work we do.
